Knowledge and Perceptions on recognizing Colic among Horse Handlers’ in Nigeria

Colic is one of the most common medical problems that horse handlers or owners encounter, and also prevalent emergency conditions veterinarians concern. The capacity a handler owner to recognize colic seek help crucial step in determining outcome case. purpose this study was evaluate handlers' knowledge opinions on recognizing colic. Structured open close ended questionnaires were used obtain information from 77 participants. Most did not know gave erroneous values for their horse's clinical parameters.
